South Carolina Free Lyft Rides

S.C. Residents And Visitors Can Lyft For Free This St. Patrick’s Day

If you plan to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day in South Carolina this weekend, you could Lyft for free.

As part of their Safe Rides Home Campaign, SafeWise is sponsoring $1,000 in Lyft rides this St. Patrick’s Day to help people get home safely. They’re focusing their efforts on the states that have the highest number of impaired driving deaths per capita.

Unfortunately, South Carolina finds itself on this list. Sitting at the number two spot, is South Carolina, just behind Wyoming.

To combat this, SafeWise is handing out $10 Lyft gift cards to the first 100 people who sign up for safe rides on their website.

SafeWise President, Suzi Brzezinski said she hopes “the campaign will go beyond free rides and inspire more Americans to get a safe, sober ride home after their holiday festivities.”

Other states on the list include North Dakota, New Mexico, Alabama, Montana, Texas, Mississippi, Arkansas, and Louisiana.
