Cheese, meats and wines galore at this perfect, little cheese spot in Charleston. Located in the NoMo area, the restaurant location of the original downtown shop features indoor dining and a quaint patio where cheese lovers can try an array from all over the world.   1. The Gourmet Shop, Columbia

A Five Points staple since 1979, this shop and cafe offers some of the finest artisanal cheese from America and europe. Dine in their cafe or grab a tray to-go. Either will come with a custom seasonal selection of handcrafted cheeses and charcuterie as well as dried fruits, grapes, nuts, freshly baked breads and crackers. Enjoy inside or on their covested sidewalk patio.

Build your own charcuterie plate and tapas at this informal, family-friendly restaurant. As the name suggests, it is located in the recently renovated south end ‘05 area of Greenville. Their plates include blue cheeses paired with fig jam grown locally, goat cheeses with apples or pears and sheep’s milk cheese with house-made jam from the pantry.

A Spanish tapas concept, Gervais & Vine has a menu filled with culinary influences from all across the mediterranean. Dine on a specially curated cheese board at the dreamy outdoor seating area surrounded by twinkle lights. Or head inside to the lively bar area or to the back, for a more intimate experience. In addition to their cheese plate tapas selection, the restaurant boasts live music two days a week as well as wine tastings on Wednesdays where four wines are paired with cheeses for $8.
